New season starting on Saturday 19th September!

Season 13 is set to be another eclectic tournament team, with new exciting stuff in store as part of their training and preparation this winter season.

We have also acquired funding to subsidise the team's competition equipment, with thanks to the Jack Petchey Foundation for their generous donation. 

Timetable and booking form will now be available to pick up in class! Subsidised equipment will be subject to stock and on a first come first served basis.

Team Kaizen Season 10

Unique to Kaize Ryu, this 6-8 weeks program is an initiative that brings together youngsters and adults from diverse backgrounds in pursuit of a common goal; success in the competition arena. It's fun, it's challenging and it's rewarding!

This season, with thanks to Canary Wharf Constructor Funds, the program will be provided free of charge to the first 60 participants. Training schedule and competition details will be provided to you when you sign up. All you have to do is put your name down with a £5 refundable deposit to secure your place.

A huge congratulation to all competitors of the Yudansha and Team Kaizen Squads for their amazing results at last weekend’s Kaizen Cup Spring Competition held at Dagenham Park School, Dagenham. The day saw the Yudansha Elite Team come away with 6 Golds, 9 Silvers, and 3 Bronze medals while the new Team Kaizen took an impressive 9 Golds, 3 Silvers and 7 Bronze Medals!

On Thursday 17^th February 2011, members of Kaizen Ryu Karate Do joined other young athletes from East London at the 10^th Annual Sports Personality of the Year Awards, sponsored by Canary Wharf Group. The prestigious event was held at East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf, and the awards were presented by Perri Shakes-Drayton; former winner and current Olympic hopeful in athletics.

We were privileged to have been asked to put on a display as part of the evening’s celebration. Excitement, nerves all played a part, and after only four hours worth of rehearsals both squads, ‘Yudansha’ and ‘Team Kaizen’ had massive fun as they took to the stage and showcased a display that was met with a rapturous applause!

For 8 sessions, you will get the opportunity to receive tuition and training from current champions and coaches of the Great Britain team. You will learn new skills, make new friends, and the training and experience will take your karate to another level.
