Annual Awards

Here at Kaizen Ryu we believe in giving something back. So every year, we give out awards to recognise some of the efforts of members, be they be students, instructors or parents. It doesn't take much to pat someone in the back and let them know they are appreciated.

This year we are priveleged to have in attendance two sporting legends. James Cook MBE is the former EBU European super middleweight champion and Ian "Dappa" Napa is the current EBU European Bantamweight champion. They have agreed to come down, present the awards, give some inspirational advice and answer some of your questions!

Also this year we will find out who the winners of the Jack Petchey Awards are and see how the Kaizen Academy for Sports Development has acquired funding for the Club! You will also be able to let us know how you would like the Academy to support the club in the future! 

As usual, we are going to start the session with advanced training and a few demonstrations before the awards are given out.

So training and demonstrations, a great way to cap off your hard work this year and set you up for 2009! Plus coverage from the East London Advertiser Paper!
