Starting Tuesday 7th January 2020, all classes resumes.

We hope everyone has had a brilliant summer break, and are feeling fresh, re-energised and ready to hit the dojo floor!

What is happening this Winter?

1. 16th - 22nd March - Mums go for free week! 

2. 10th - 12th April - Good Friday Weekend Closure

3. 8th - 10th May - BELGIUM trip for Japanese Masters Seminar & Seiwakai Dan Grading 

4. 18th - 24th May - Mental Health Awareness Week

5. 15^th – 21^st June Dads Go Free Week

The Kaizen Cup Invitational is an established & popular tournament in the Southern England competition circuit, attracting top quality students from around the country to compete for the Kaizen Cup Trophy. 

Over the last 15 years the event has grown dramatically. It's a competitive, yet friendly and well run competition, using WKF rules. These bi-annual events are the perfect environment as a warm up for pre-international championships. As well as providing a competitive platform for beginners right through to black belts.

introducing Miss Emma Elmes; world renowned Martial Arts Performer and Actress

At Kaizen Ryu we like to recognise and reward students for their efforts and commitment.

This is an opportunity for the club to give something back, and for the students to train and see some high level martial arts with other karate-ka in a vibrant and exciting environment.

This year we are privileged to have in attendance Miss Emma Elmes; a professional martial arts performer and actress.

She has been featured in a number of Music Videos, Films and TV Shows including CBBC and Britain's Got Talent. Her skills and list of accolades are something to be admired, and gain inspiration from. She is renowned for her extreme flexibility... and her incredible 'scorpion kick'!

Divisional Heats & Winter Finals 2011

The Kaizen Cup is an exciting Invitational Tournament bringing together top quality students from around the country.

Divisional winners from Winter 2010 and Spring 2011 are entered into the Finals against this year's Winter divisional winners.

Medals fro 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places. Trophies for Cup Winners. Certificate of Recognition for all competitors.
