Following in the Footsteps of the Masters

For the karate ka (or student) it doesn’t get any better than this - direct teaching from genuine Japanese karate masters.

Last weekend Seiichi Fujiwara Hanshi, head of Sewakai International, and Satoru Takahashi Hanshi, both eighth dan karate masters, flew into the UK for literally three days to give their only European seminar this year at Bishop Douglass Secondary School in North London - a rare event that attracted students from as far away as Russia, Italy and Czechoslovakia.

Despite numerous language barriers among the students, all eyes were glued on these experts of Goju, a style of karate suited to close up fighting, as they put the two hundred attendees through their paces.

What's On? ... Seiwakai London 2013

Get inspired and grow your karate knowledge along with hundreds of karate-ka this October, when two of Japan's top exponents in karate from Seiwakai visits London.

Train in a room with over 100 black belts and kyu grades, from beginners to advanced. 

Three days of great tuition followed by Dan testing for those who are eligible.

Open to all grades and ages, this is a once a year opportunity. 

Kaizen Academy for Sports Development is able to offer support towards Kaizen Ryu Karate student's tuition fee to this event, simply let your instructor know what days you would like to attend, and your request will be submitted along with everyone else.

Open training sessions available with top Goju instructor, Leo Lipinski Shihan 8th Dan Seiwakai.
