The Ilford Recorder is a well-established quality local newspaper covering the outer London borough of Redbridge. First published on September 17, 1898 it has been at the forefront of the community it serves throughout that time and has gained a reputation for championing good causes.
It was highly commended in the Mayor of London’s Local Press Awards for good practice in coverage of asylum issues. It was also short-listed in the Archant awards 2005 in the best commercial supplement category for its VE Day 60 supplement.
Archant is also the UK'slargest independently-owned regional media business. It is a community media company active in the fields of regional newspaper and magazine publishing, contract printing and internet communications. All its titles and web sites serve clearly defined communities, based around locations or interest groups. You can find out more about Archant by clicking here - Archant
